The Friendly Creeper Part 11

"Get up!"

I opened my eyes, which were still blurry.

"Drink this!"

Was that a tiger in front of me? I couldn't tell-

The figure pulled my jaw open and threw a bucket of milk over my face. The cold milk sent chills through my body, and the unexpected milk flowed into my throat.

"Pleh!" I spat. My vision was getting a little better. That was… a tiger?!?!?!?

"AHHHH!" I backed up, scooting myself to as far from the tiger as possible. Unfortunately, I was backed up in a corner next to the bookcase. Snatching up my sword, I pointed it at the big cat. "STAY BACK!"

"Calm down. I'm not gonna hurt you!" The tiger was standing on its hind legs, and its voice was rather high pitched. It had white stripes running up its orange back, with a white furred chest. It had long straight hair running down its back. "Jeez. Can't people just get used to tigers walking around on two legs?"

"Um," I asked, still pointing the sword at the up-right tiger, "who are you?"

"You," it, or she, since it was now safe to assume it was a girl, said, putting her finger gently on the tip of my blade, "can call me Kitty."

As she put her finger on the sword, I suddenly realized how heavy it was, and I dropped it. "Hey-"

"Shh." She put a claw up to her lips. "You're injured. Here's a potion."

She handed me a vial with a red substance in it. I recognized it as a health potion, and drank up. Almost immediately, I felt much better. I picked up The Dragon Book and added it to my stuff.

"Good. You're better. Now, pay me back."
